Whether or not guys commit here and when they do it isn't on your or my time. Sometimes when there is nothing to be reported it's because there is nothing to be reported. Has it occurred to people that perhaps it's Nebraska that is slow playing things?6 points -

That’s what I was worried about that we played that hard last weekend and just the physical and mental level that was required last week. Took its toll on them1 point -

We had this same discussion during the basketball season, personally I'd want the rings and a trophy. So, yeah, that mental fatigue might have been an issue today. Florida probably felt like they were given a gift at 28-27 going into today's ballgame to face a 'tired' NU first up.1 point -

Need to keep them off the board. Florida pitcher's season high is 100 pitches. He is at 83 right now. Their bullpen has struggled.1 point -

A known sharpshooting transfer who plays for a relatively lesser known basketball country and who is working to qualify his team for big time international tournaments? Where have I heard this story before? It seems to work out well for Nebrasketball though.1 point -
Nebraska Recruiting
KLamp21 reacted to Huskerpapa for a topic
I've come to understand and accept that college basketball recruiting (both men's and women's) has dramatically changed. Yes a battle seems to have been lost, but the war is far from over. For example, it seems we are now seeing foreign born players finally finding landing spots. There are still portal athletes and JUCO players and a plethora of high school juniors and seniors available. Obviously some better than others. So although I am concerned about front court depth (both men's and women's) it is too early to throw in the towel.1 point -

Bet they wish they'd have played that 4th game against us that they cancelled because they couldn't handle basketball and baseball going on at the same time - plus they blew a couple late leads against us - if they win just once in that series, they're probably in.1 point -

Unreal run through the losers' bracket - I figured we'd be good for the first 2 elimination games with Sears & Mac, but our pitchers were unbelievably good past them, and that's what it takes to make that kind of run. I didn't think we had it in us, but they found a way. Tons of fun. Coach Childress deserves a ton of credit - his sequences were carving up some really good hitters, and the guys executed it. We found some clutch hitting too - so happy for Swanny - amazing what a little confidence can do for you. Overbeek & Columbus & Stokes were really good too. And Caron told the rest of the B1G to shove their leaving him off the 1st 2nd and 3rd team all B1G with emphasis. Plus he caught all 52 defensive innings we had. I'm not sure how he was able to walk by Sunday, let alone bang another huge HR. Perhaps the most incredible individual performance for a Husker position player in the postseason I've ever seen. That 5-game stretch was as good as we've played all year ... and that's saying something as good as we were in Febr through about mid-April. Not only did we run off 5 straight elimination wins, but we technically had nothing to play for and all 5 of those games were against teams that had to win the B1G Tourney to get an NCAA bid, so they were playing with desperation. Truly amazing toughness and determination by our guys. The last 6-ish weeks have been uneven and a little rough, but sometimes you have to go through some rough patches to make you resilient in the postseason. Hope we can keep it going this weekend - no one wants to see us in their regional, I can guarantee that.1 point -

I wonder about Berke Buyuktuncel as well. First, we hear words to the effect that we should hear some good news soon, and then radio silence. It seems we don't have any official insiders who do their jobs. (you prob. know the guys I'm talking about) Hoiberg and staff need to find the money to bring Brazile home. He's better than Kyle III. It would more than make up for the punks who supposedly considered NU: especially Fidler and Milicic. Others in the go pound-sand cohort: Saint Thomas, C. Hepburn and always, H. Sallis.-1 points
