I actually got to have lunch with Brian “Dexter” Holland at The Fish Company in Long Beach back in 1999. I was doing an audit at a flight training location where he was learning to fly a plane, as he recently purchased a new plane. The General Manager at that location asked me if I’ve ever heard of the band The Offspring. I said yes, they’re one of my favorite bands. He said good, the lead singer is here and he’ll set up a time for us to go to lunch. He’s seemed like a pretty nice guy. My claim to fame.

Fun night at the park, beautiful evening. Then went to Iowa-Illinois today. Not inspiring baseball played. Iowa gets hosed. Love this tournament and college baseball. A lot of people are missing the boat--inexpensive, hassle-free, and baseball fans from other teams are the best.
