A point guard who can score is a valuable commodity.  When that prospect is in your home state you should have an assistant coach at every Elkhorn North game.

Yep, look at Coach Ruhle aggressively recruiting the legacy Raiola kid, who lives in Arizona!  When has Amy ever recruited a true difference-maker who has not transferred out?  No, neither Markowski nor Weidner fit that description yet, and does anyone really have confidence that this staff will develop them to that level?

So isn't Britt now free to name her college choice? Was thinking you needed to be in your Junior year of HS.

You can verbally commit to a program anytime.  She could sign during the early signing period this coming November.  She is a junior right now. 

Problem is you can verbally decommit at any time too up to when you officially sign as well. Verbals aren't worth as much these days.

WBB sees a lot less decommitting than must sports. Especially now with the transfer portal I believe. 

Watched her at the State tournament today.  NICE.  she spent the vast majority of the first half, working the ball in the half court, attempting to involve her teammates.  In the second half, she turned up the heat and took her game full court.  Wonderful to watch.

I’m going to watch Britt in person tomorrow.  Looking forward to getting a closer look.

One could argue these are the best two teams in the state this year regardless of class.

Yes, Britt trying to gut it out on a sprained ankle.

Obviously a lot to like about Britt’s game but I’ve been impressed with her court vision. A couple times she’s had the ball on the outside and saw a wide open teammate all alone in the post under the hoop and Britt fired the ball to her for the assist. Seems to be an unselfish player who wants to see her teammates succeed 

I watched her in the semifinals where she wasn’t tested.  Extremely poised but she is very quick and in the open court has plenty of speed. She makes good decisions and makes her teammates better.  NU must pull out all the stops to sign her.

Simply my opinion.  Britt will be a Husker.

Elkhorn North is in its 3rd year of existence, and they already have 3 State basketball championships, and the Prince family is a big reason why. Impressive.

Did read OU and ISU had coaches talk with her after Friday’s game.

i hope you are right, Papa.  But after watching Iowa vs. Maryland a bit ago ..... why would she spurn offers to participate in action like that in favor of suffering thru average to above average play as a Husker?   What are the advantages of coming here?

Who in the hell would want to live in Maryland or Iowa for what it's worth.

She is 3rd on the state games scoring list with 200 points. Only junior to score 200. Hooper has 271 I think so barring an injury she could pass her next year. Class B stats. 

Millard South has probably the best trio in the state playing the same 4 years together. They were pretty impressive. Scored 70 of their record-breaking 72 in the Class A finale. Mya Babbitt scored 30 while teammates Cora Olsen and Khloe Lemon both had 20. All three scored at least 500 points this season, and all 3 were 1,000-point career scorers. The trio is #1, #2, and #3 in the Millard South all-time scoring record books. They were a fun group to watch their progress throughout their 4-year career, culminating in a Senior season Class A State Championship. Unprecedented to do what they've done.
