Without Schreiber, NU doesn't get in.  Program has a long ways to go to compete at a level to challenge for CWS.  The B1G is improving but lacks the pitching prowess of the other major conferences and is not as deep in quality hitting throughout the entire lineup.  Schreiber's absence left a gaping hole in the Husker offense.

I don't think we needed Creighton to win today. We will have similiar RPIs and we won the series. They have nothing special about their resume (reg or tourney conf title, stellar record against top 50, etc) that would warrant them getting in over us imo. But hey what do I know.

 

It is not us v. cu. ...if it was...we are in.

The reality is it is us v. the field.

Any time a team can qualify that otherwise, would not, but for their winning a tournament,..they could take one spot from the at large field.

creighton might still get in... X never had a chance.

Although, if the jays get in and NU does not, some members needs to quit the committee.

So I go to the NCAA bracket to see what I could find out about our section.  This is what they had on the site.  Who Will Win?

Wow...thought we were done for after seeing Minnesota and Washington. Fun matchup as well

I had hope since Minny was a two and they seemingly weren't much better on paper.  So close.  2nd to last team in.
