I have literally never seen a conference opponent being worse than Rutgerz. Wow. 90-56.

Yep.  That was a bad, bad team out there and apparently they have like three of their main guys out win injury.  It's weird but instead of being happy for the big blowout, you can only feel relief.  I think winning by anything less than 20 should be an embarrassment even on the road.

Iowa just might put 130 on 'em.

Indiana was down at half and only won by 7. We're going to see a nice kenpom bounce from this one

Yes we Did!  From KenPom #143 to #111.  :)

Road wins are always a nice boost. GBR

You'd have to be insane to not be impressed with the young developing talent. The upperclassmen and coaches need to learn to trust these freshmen offensively.

I thought Shields had a really solid game. He was unselfish, played great defense, and played within himself. When he does that, we get a lot more open looks and contributions from other players. That's how he played in the first half against IU and we were the better team that half.

Our young guys (Mcveigh, Watson, Morrow at the rim) are capable of scoring the ball. They need to start thinking of themselves as weapons and stop playing like sidekicks. Shields is a much better utility guy within the offense than straight up scorer. AW3 is a phenomenal scorer within the offense because he's such an incredible shooter. He's going to be much more efficient if we're all sharing the ball and moving because he's nothing special off the dribble.

I'm really encouraged with what I saw. It was good to see multiple contributions for the duration of the game instead of just one half.

Oh wow!! What vendors were in this building? And is this one of the historic buildings that people in the city were trying to demolish for newer developments?

M's Pub, and some residential condos.  Not one of the buildings getting demolished for the Holland Center parking.

The Holland site in question is only a few blocks North of this location.

This intersection is the epicenter of the Old Market in Omaha. M's Pub was the oldest restaurant in the district. The Mercer family was the driving force in creating the district and they had an apartment in the floors above M's Pub. This is a devastating loss to the Old Market and Omaha.

The shell of the corner could likely be salvaged, if the freezing water stops being doused on the walls, that is. Wednesday it will be above freezing, then we'll be able to tell for sure if it's worth saving! Unfortunately, it's a near total loss, otherwise.

Hope they can save it, the Old Market wouldn't be the same without M's.

Looks like the corner could be salvaged, would require a couple of years' work to get the guts put back together, though. Probably worth the time, effort & funds to do so. Devastating fire but it appears to be a situation that can and likely will be recovered from with much determination & dollars too!

If I won the powerball I'd make sure funds wouldn't be an issue in restoring the building.

If I win the powerball, I'll buy the place, paint it scarlet with big white Ns all over it and hang bluejays in effigy from all the rafters.

I'll make it a sports bar.  With half price drinks if you're wearing Husker gear.

Killian's Red will be on tap; we won't sell Blue Moon.  And no drinks with Blue Curacao, either.
