Will You Root for Northwestern

New hypothetical.  Let's say both Northwestern and Nebraska make the dance, there are 4 potential scenarios.

 

Scenario #1:  Nebraska has already played (and won).  Do you root for Northwestern?

Scenario #2:  Nebraska has already played (and lost).  Do you root for Northwestern?

Scenario #3:  Nebraska and Northwestern play at the same time.  Do you root for Northwestern?

Scenario #4:  Nebraska plays after Northwestern.  Do you root for Northwestern?

 

It's simple for me. I'm all for NOT being the last power conference team to win an NCAA March Madness game. After we win, I don't care who makes the tournament and/or wins games. We had a buffer with South Florida for awhile, but now it's down to two teams.

Someone just give me the chance to not root for Northwestern and I'll go Jimmy Chitwood on it because I'll make it.

 

dimes will not root for them SO HARD!

 

 

We're talking "I don't want Iowa to win the National Championship in football ever" level of cheering here.

Absolutely would root for them.  It is our problem that we are inept enough to never have won a game.  It is miserable and pathetic on its own merit.  For me it doesn't make it any less miserable or pathetic that we haven't won one, just because someone else hasn't either.
