The Huskers MBB have moved up from pre-season KenPom #137 to #101.

Tue, 12/1 vs Miami (#16), 8:00 pm CST, ESPNU (Big Ten/ACC Challenge - @ PBA)
Sat, 12/5 vs Abilene Christian (#343), 1:00 pm CST, BTN Plus*
Wed, 12/9 @ Creighton (#53), 7:00 pm CST, CBS Sports
Sun, 12/13 vs Rhode Island (#48), 1:00 pm CST, ESPN3 (streaming)
Sun, 12/20 vs Samford (#241), 6:00 pm CST, BTN
Tue, 12/22 vs Prairie View A&M (#346), 7:00 pm CST, BTN Plus*

And the correct answer is... TODAY! 

 

I don't understand how Nebraska could be #99 and the Vols are #92. That makes no sense at all to me.

OK, here this whole time I read the poll wrong.  I don't think we'll reach 100 against Miami, but I figured our best chance of breaking 100 (points) was against Abilene.  So, that's how I voted.

 

The poll -- which I would have realized if I'd read it more carefully -- is actually asking when we do we climb into the top 100 in KenPom. 

 

Well, that will happen when we beat Miami tomorrow night.

I think their best shot for 100 on the scoreboard is Prairie View A&M, which is the best combination of fast and terrible left on the schedule. I don't believe we make it.

 

I have a feeling we'll be under 100 for KenPom most of the rest of the year.
