interest from Duke and UCLA now. Also has picked up a ton more offers

To repeat a prior post: "As usual, looks like Tim Miles is ahead of the pack in identifying and pursuing under-rated players. Edwards is, apparently, under-rated no longer."

Liking our chances on this one.

Robin Washit has a new article up on him now on Red Sea Scrolls. It's definitely worth the price of admission!

Can you give us a summary?

Pay the man...he's got to eat too.

Hey now, I'm a poor college kid over here. I don't have much to offer ;)

Swan is pretty skinny.  You could probably pay him in pork chops and he probably wouldn't eat much.

Oh, wait, you meant pay the other ... aha, now I get it.

I don't know how you post a little block from verbal commits, but there's the place where they list the rankings on the various sites.  And this kid had nothin'.  He was ranked as a 2 star by VC and had no stars for Scout, Rivals or ESPN.

As of sometime before today (but I'm not sure precisely when) Rivals has rated him as a 3 star.

At the beginning of this thread, when I said I couldn't find his Rivals page and Kamdy found it for me, I believe (BELIEVE but not CERTAIN) he had no stars.  That was just 3 weeks ago.  Sometime between then and today, IINM, they upgraded him to 3 stars.  And I suspect his climb up the rankings ladder is not finished.

With the kind of senior year he's had and the attention he's received, I won't be surprised if he jumps into the final Rivals 150 for 2015.  I will be only slightly surprised if he jumps into the top 100.  Stranger things have happened.

I'm not a member over at Rivals, but if they're saying we have a good shot, I'm saying thank Heavens.

The headline to the article says we're in his top 5.  The headline part is free.  (Headline writers don't eat.)  ;)

The article basically says that Miles was in contact with him immediately after the Pitchford news came out and that they now have a spot open and its for Edwards and they really want him to fill that spot.  Edwards talked about how NU was one of the first schools in on him and he hopes to take a visit soon.

Talked a little bit about how Edwards would love to find a place where he has a chance to play right away and NU with the departures of Pitch, Smith, Abraham and Rivers definitely feels that need.

Its a good article and it sounds like NU and Miles are putting the full court press on this guy.
