Why does Yori play Romeo??

They're playing the right people in more or less the right minutes. 

 

Smith's going to be a good player. Romeo, too. 

I don't normally write any comments but Sam is right on here.  Choices are limited and Coach Yori is playing the right people.  I had hoped that Smith would improve her shooting this year and her stamina or endurance but I'm sure the injury has set her back.  She and Romeo I think can be pretty salty.  Disappointed that Kalenta didn't play more but I assume she has trouble on defense which won't fly.

Next year could be interesting as I believe their will be heavy competition for playing time by the incoming freshmen.  Simon could surprise, along with Blackburn.

I think Simon will surprise a lot of people. Maryland also recruited her.

with the "hit" Big Red took this year and next, gonna need that "surprise". i think more B1G teams will show improvement than not next season.
