Alright, no lies.  I'm drinking my typical $12 whiskey---AT 50% OFF.  Seriously, PM me, I'll give you the location of the spot droppin 6.54 1.75's of gold...  IT MIGHT JUST BE A CORNER PHARMACY.

But, it's rant time.

I never hated the Roby kid from Colorado.  And I hate everything Colorado.

Because it's not NU

Now NU HAS A ROBY

And I couldn't be more excited.  Why you ask?

Because I can't even in my deepest, darkest, twisted mind think of anything clever  to say if Roby lets me down.

Actually, this is kind of twisted, but if he lets me down I'll think of diss-roby.  Which is kind of funny (or fun) depending on how you see it.

As I'm typing disroby I'm watching the royals fall apart and making obvious parallels BUT a HOMERUN happens, so Roby is obviously a homerun.

It's not that Roby is Royal, but the connection is obvious.

Roby+ time= Row time.  4th row (number of letters in roby's name) will likely win some kind of Runza/pepsi promo this year.

I just feel like that's enough for me to consider this an exciting sign.  I've never followed logic in life.  It makes a lot of sense not to.

As you already know, WE WILL WIN.

Saw some video -- will try to find the link -- and the kid looks very athletic.  You can just see it in the way some kids move.  At 6'8" and entering his junior year, you might expect some kids to look a little clumsy or awkward.  Not this kid.  Very smooth stride.  Very smooth.  And appears to have some very solid ups.

On record right now:  I really like this kid.

I've been intrigued by this kid since NU started in on recruitment as Miles likes 'em "long, lean & under-rated" -- apparently, also, how Miles likes his zucchini & an 'Arop'~! ;)

Here's the vid.  Team clip but Isaiah's action is early.  Watch how he carries himself for a young, lanky, tall kid.  He moves extremely well for a kid with his length at his age.  Fantastic body control.  He has a very athletic stride.  I'd say we're very fortunate to get this early commit because I expect he'd blow up by next summer.
