Just looking at their conference games, Jefferson didn't take many 3's, 1 per game to be exact, but shot in the 40 percent range. O'Neale is another guy who averaged about 2 3's per game in conference he also shot 45 percent.

I hate to say it, but Creighton could make a run. They can beat Wisconsin and Arizona (if they can get by us or Baylor).

Creighton can't beat Arizona. Arizona's free throws can beat Arizona, but if that's not a problem, Creighton won't be close. Tarczewski is one of the top legitimate centers in the country and Johnson and Gordon are athletic and skilled on a level that Creighton has not seen. McBucket's may be POY but Johnson was Pac12 POY and Gordon was USA basketball POY. The Wildcats just need to hit their free throws

Their zone is what I am most worried about. We aren't the best shooting team from 3 and have struggled against zone this year.

Ray could be huge if he can knock down some shots for us in this game.

It's strange that we struggle so much with zones when at one time we can have four decent to good 3-point shooters on the floor at one time.

Another conference stat is teams shot 38 percent from 3 against them. We have decent shooters with Pitchford and Petteway. Plus, we have a week off before playing to get rested up.

I love the 11:40 tip time. We won't spend all day working ourselves into a nervous wreck. And the morning games are usually like country club atmospheres. If it was at night, there would be way more Baylor fans there.

I love the early tip as well. But mostly so I won't work MYSELF into a nervous wreck all day!

Arizona has the best route to the Final Four, IMO.  They're by far the best team in the region and it's the easiest region.  If they get hot they could be a National title contender.  Really like the way they play.  Right now, I'd have to put them and Florida as my favorites to win it all.

Midwest region is brutal!

I hate the matchup because Baylor when they are playing to their potential could be an Elite 8 team. However, often times they do not play that way and are susceptible to being upset. GO BIG RED!

We are an 11 seed. Any team we got matched up against was going to be a possible Elite 8 team when they are playing up to their potential.

UMass fan here. I visited this board back in November during the Charleston Classic when UMass played Nebraska. After that many UMass fans followed Nebraska. It's not unusul to follow a team somewhat after you play them, the better they look the better you look but more than usual attention was paid to Nebraska by UMass fans. You had a lot of fans rooting for Nebraska all season and tonight during the selcetion show a bunch of UMass fans were at a bar watching it, when Nebraska showed up in the dance everyone clapped. Good luck!

Thanks, man. Good luck to you too. We were following and rooting for you guys all year too. Anything to help our RPI.

you, too! I have a soft spot for Amherst. A10 was tough conference this year, so Minutemen should be ready to go.

I like our raid defense against Baylor's bigs. I think we can force a lot of turnovers.

Just don't leave Hanslip.

I recall watching Heslip light up 8 or 9 triples in a ballgame... no doubling that Brady guy, thankfully I don't think Baylor has a whole lot of other deep sharpshooters!

One other guys shoots them in volume for Baylor but Heslip is hitting at a ridiculous 46% rate....essentially like a mini-Wragge.

We have decent...not elite 3 pt shooters.

Even Pitchford shooting at his 40% clip doesn't scare you that much because he's not really a volume shooter.

Shooting 3s isn't our game this year and should only be a backup plan.

Mini-Wragge with a Gibbs-esque shelf life.

I'm not sure Heslip will be playing for Baylor in 2016.
