  1. I would say that joke was a slam dunk, but we all know it was a little soft Did Jorge ever have a dunk during his time at Nebraska?
  2. I personally think the away tops with the home shorts would look pretty neat. Overall, these are pretty cool unis. Too bad we didn't meet expectations this year. Hard to say if Adidas will take another shot on us next year to be involved in their March Madness line of uniforms. Time will only tell.
  3. Once again, this shows the ignorance of some people in the state in terms of basketball, and Lifetimesker I'm not directing this towards you at all. He is not even close to being on the hot seat. Unbelievable that someone would even think that.
  4. Just called. I can't get put on the waiting list until after the season is over.
  5. Anytime. Just call the ticket office. I would think your chances will be good for 200 level seats next year. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
  6. I am currently a season ticket holder, but the ticket I pay for is under a friend's name. When can I put my name on a wait list? And...what are my chances of getting 2 seats in the 200 level.
  7. If Morrow Jr. doesn't contribute right away, I'd be very surprised by that development. Rebounding & interior D are in MAJOR need of upgrade & Ed would provide those skills & a tough mind-set immediately. For what it's worth. I was talking with a Creighton coach the other day and he said Morrow will be a carbon copy of David Rivers. Now, this could be a Creighton coach talking just to talk, but I thought it was interesting. And this coach is a nice guy/individual, so I do not believe he was talking trash on some of our recruits. Rivers isn't a bad player, but I'm hoping Morrow is better than him.
  8. I would disagree about having to reach the tourney final in order to be a bubble team. You pessimistic attitude is drowning this message board, my friend.
  9. Agree. I'm very happy that we have people coming out to support the team. However, what I question is how some people have a completely skewed idea on what a college player should look like on the court. We are not Kentucky or a top tier program. Be glad that we are building something here in Lincoln. Do not take shots at a college kid who is not playing the greatest. Tai is going to be okay, and he will not transfer. Some people in the state need to get a grip on these thoughts because they sound ignorant.
  10. Had a casual talk in the Railyard with a guy before the game on Saturday. The subject of Tai came up, and I said that after watching him against Minnesota, he looked like a different, confident player. This guy was not having it and said Tai is for sure leaving after this year. I shook my head, told him Tai would have a great game, and then I walked away. I would've loved to seen the dude after the game to buy him a beer. I do think Tai is somewhat understanding it more. His confidence and ball handling have improved so much since the beginning of the season, and I really thought that he started to show signs of digging himself from the proverbial grave against Minnesota. Keep it rolling.
  11. Sometimes a little time in the dog house does the soul some good.
