Certainly a dangerous game.  The Huskers have their work cut out for them, with a hungry 0-6 Penn State, probable dead atmosphere midweek, and coming off a win.

The key will be making the scrappy plays...David Rivers...

Penn St. a 3 point favorite.

Seventh straight game we've been the underdog. When will we be favored?

Win this next one and this weekend maybe!

Well they were right 5x in a row...and I don't see us being favored this weekend after watching the Minni-men take it to the Wisky clan tonight...not saying we won't win...but we won't be favored.

Is this the new tough Minnesota with a new head coach or is this the same Minnesota team who chokes on the road?  It's tough to tell with the minimal amount of road games they've played.

I don't agree as much with this move though just saying it is successful people that moved it. I should have played it at 3 but will pass now most likely. Nu can win the game. Just not terribly likely.

Smart money has moved if to 4.5. Don't get hopes up. This is going to be tough.

I'm sure the smart money was on OSU too.

Point spreads don't typically move a whole lot once they get started.

The move from +2.5 to +4.5 indicates that most people are wagering on Penn St.

We need to be careful about jacking up first reasonably open 3 we get against this team.  While it may be a reasonable idea against great defensive teams, it could compromise our opportunities to drive to the hole against this club, which I think is how we can walk out of here with a win.  3's will lead to long rebounds and Frazier will have them racing out in transition.  We need to keep good court spacing at all times and make them make as many outside shots as possible to beat us.  They might make more than enough, but they may not either.  If we are constantly getting easier looks than they are taking(and they will take early open 3's) we have a shot.  Reasonably open 3's will be there early in the clock against this team most likely.  What is a good shot in this game, may not be what is in another.

Penn State has gone 3-3 since we last saw them, with probably just as impressive a road win as the one we just got, (at least from a KenPom rankings standpoint) at Ohio State.  Of course that was over three weeks ago and they've looked rather pedestrian since then, but nevertheless, with Newbill and Frazier, they are definitely not a team to be overlooked.

Here is the pre game KenPom rundown for Penn State.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Benny play 25-30 minutes. He's our best close out defender and I really feel he could neutralize Frazier.

This is almost a must for the WIN!

We need to avoid this turning into a 3 point shootout.  They don't have a lot of shot blocking.  We need to make sure we attack at least our fair share.  Take the threes when they are super clean looks.

Yes yes yes the rim is our friend. and 1 will be very good for us.
