I was getting anxious because I haven't received anything re: season ticket renewals, so I logged in on Huskers.com.  They had my season ticket invoice out there, plus here is the non-conference schedule home games.  This, along with the conference games should be all of them, because we are getting billed for 17 games.  A lot of games against teams from the Southeast.

Mon, Nov 4  UNK
Fri, Nov 8     Florida Gulf Coast
Tue, Nov 12  Western Illinois
Sun, Nov 17  So Carolina St
Sat, Nov 30  Northern Illinois
Wed, Dec 4  Miami, FL
Sat, Dec 14  Arkansas St
Sat, Dec 21  The Citadel

That non-con home schedule is reminscent of many in years past.

True, but to be fair in Miles' intro PC he said that he would wait until we have an NCAA tourney caliber team before putting together a taxing OOC schedule.  I'd guess we're still a year or two away from that.

Cager I looked at mine and I noticed they had UNK on there 9 times for January 1, 2014.  :D

(obviously placeholders for the B1G schedule, but I thought it was funny)

I've seen worse.  All things considered, it's not a bad schedule.  Not overly enticing at home, but those road tests should prove beneficial.  Not sure it's a huge bubble building schedule, though, unless they win at least 3 of those games away from PBA.

"I've seen worse"

Understatement of the century.  This is a damn good and damn smart schedule.  If we come out of this with less than 4 losses I'll be tickled and we'll be sitting in damn good position entering league play.

Ya... I don't know if I call the schedule phenomenal, but its good.  My only gripe is having 3 high 300+ RPI teams on it.  Would trade one of those 3 for Omaha who will probably have a 200-250 RPI.  That is what kills the SOS, but some decent mid major in terms of RPI (FGCU, Western Illinois, and Arky St.)

I like the schedule too, hopefully those 3 teams are better this year and can finish in the 250 to 300 range.  Last year we didn't play a team with a 300+ RPI and only 3 with a 200+ RPI.

I am glad that Biggs will get to play in 1 game before the Charleston Classic.

Are all these teams going to end up with the same RPI as last year?

The thing is...3 of those teams were pretty bad last year....but those teams arent consistently that bad.  These teams are a far cry from the usual SWAC and MEAC teams we consistently play, where you know going in, what you are getting.   It's very possible, in fact likely, that they move up.

No they are not, but they finished 330, 333, and 342 (out of 347) last year.  I would be suprised if they jumped into the top 300.  You could look at it the other way WIU finished 122 but lose their top 2 players, so they won't be as good.

It is nice not having 6-7  250+RPI games on the schedule, and I know you need a few "easy" games, I just wish they were against teams with RPI's in the 200's instead of the 300's, which is why last year's schedule was brilliant.

For as inexperienced as our team is, this is a damn good schedule.  You mix this with the B10 schedule and I'm guessing we have a top 30 schedule in the Nation.  The Charleston Classic has some nice teams in it, then you throw in FGCU, Miami, Creighton and Cincy alone and that's tough.  Pretty sure I read somewhere that NU has 5 home games vs teams that made the Sweet 16 last year.  That alone is pretty crazy.

Yep, plus four more on the road, not to mention Creighton and Cincinnati and perhaps New Mexico.

Very challenging top to bottom.
