Red Rum Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Right on. I can't wait to start watching games here! Quote
KZRider Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Actually thought the video was kind of disappointing. I mean it is cool to see sunrise/sunset behind the building and concrete being poured and all but not all that interesting. The highlight for me was watching the guys ride those surfacers that always make me think of Zambonis for concrete. And that machine that extended to dump the concrete in was amazing though it looked somewhat like an awful Sci-Fi channel movie where humans are enslaved to machines with long snouts. Quote
PimpMario Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 I hate summer and it is barely spring. No basketball or football. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Sam has some mad skilz as a photographer. Very talented young man. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 I saw my seats, and they didn't look too bad!!! Quote
AuroranHusker Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 I saw my seats, and they didn't look too bad!!! No doubt these next 6 months are going to be built on anticipation for Nebrasketball fans!! Quote

jimmykc Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 When will we be able to watch the paint dry? Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 Apparently they decided to build a roof on the place. When did they make that change? Quote
49r Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Posted April 13, 2013 Anybody else notice the Blue and White color scheme on the walls at the top of the 100 level? Blue and White? Really??? In an arena that the HUSKERS will call home??? Tell me this is not going to be the final color scheme... Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 I see where we are going to have a huge home court advantage. That scoreboard will set some wicked picks that we will know about but the other teams won't. Quote
jimmykc Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 So that is a scoreboard. I thought the teams were just going to circle around it like they do in Mecca. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 They need a big scoreboard. With HUGE video screens showing the live action so that stiffs like me in the upper reaches can see what the hell's going on down on the floor. "You mean those aren't ants? I'll be darned." Quote
49r Posted April 15, 2013 Author Report Posted April 15, 2013 Nobody has addressed my blue-white color scheme concerns? Is this actual paint on the walls? Or is it just blue construction paper they wrap along the bottoms of the walls (which would be white all the way around) to prevent dings while they install seats and other crap..... Quote

I would be very surprised if the color scheme included blue and white though, so I would think that it is only temporary Quote
