Nebraska basketball gets the sweep tonight!  Though it's cliche this was a must win for the women tonight (even though all road games are difficult regardless of the opponent).  In regards to the standings and seedings this was a game they could not afford to lose!  Toward the end of the 3rd Q and into the 4th they built up a lead and held on after Purdue fought back.  Way to go! GBR! 🌽🏀♥️

Just finished watching the replay.  Not the cleanest game and our outside shooting was weak.  Alexis had some opportunities late but couldn’t get the ball to go down.  Thankfully, Prince hit some shots and canned free throws. I believe she scored our last seven points.  Petrie was solid and so was Rimdal.

If you told me Markowski would only have 2 rebounds and we shot 2-13 on 3's and won, that would be hard to believe.

Alexis had a rebound in the first 2 minutes, and Logan made a three in the first 2 minutes. I'm re-watching, this makes it even harder to believe, tbh!

I'm watching after the fact, who the hell are these B1G+ announcers, holy cow, they're dipsticks. I guess I'll watch it without their voices, man, they're so bad in the pregame. Hahaaha

Well, these 2 P.U. announcers really weren't too bad overall. The pregame discussions were weird, but their general game broadcasting commentary during the bulk of the NU-Purdue game was actually pretty good. I guess don't judge a book by its cover, lol.

Had a meeting last night so watched the replay after the result was known. While it was not the type of win we could have seen it is a win on the road. Nice to see Prince play well inside the 3 point line. We need more of that when the 3 is not falling. Granted their defense is not good so it is a little easier to get those looks but we need to take that when it is given to us. Will need to play much better against Indiana or we will be looking at a "L".

To answer a previous question, yes they're staying in Indiana until Sunday. Purdues defensive game plan was to guard the arc closely and make us beat them inside.  Which we did. Any conference win on the road is a good win. We have three now.

That was a dumb game plan with what Markowski did to Purdue last year. And then they have a freshman starting against a senior. And Purdont's big isn't very good.

That Puryear's free-throw shooting "attempt" was worse than I've ever witnessed, what was that garbage!?!?

Nebraska and Purdue combined were 29-31 on free throws.  I dont think I've ever heard of a combined teams  making and attempts better than this.  I wonder if any high school, college or professional have beat this?

I think there's been a pro game with better than that, but it's an extremely rare occurrence.

If P.U.'s Puryear had shot more than 2, she'd have missed a lot of FTs. As it were, she was 1 for 2. Her shooting motion was atrocious. Wow.

This is kind of a troubling trend.  This is our fourth game in a row that our point guard has out rebounded our starting post... We need Alexis to step back up and be Alexis

Yes, but if she is doing her job, boxing out, so that our guards are grabbing the boards, we should be fine.

One thing I read last night was that Markowski was playing a bit sick. Didn't explain it.

Wish all the roster could box out like Markowski...no one on roster better than her. One of the better at it centers. in the B1G

I agree, but I'd also like her to finish out in style and say what you will it is a numbers game.  Truth be told, if you told me at the beginning of the season that we'd be without Miss Potts, I would have guessed we'd be under .500 in the conference slate.  To this point the team has exceeded my expectations by far.
