What a sh*t show

It's time for the NCAA to give up the regulations and let somebody else take over.

Will be interesting to see if this affects us and how the dominoes fall.

In the long run these types of things help us more than they hurt us though you can always lose someone you think important at any time anyway.

Not too worried about this one.  I remember all the kicking and screaming when the Yankees signed Catfish Hunter as the first free agent.  MLB was going down the tubes. Those with money would rule everything. Now, those with money have a better chance, but that's the way it is in all walks of life.  Huskers will be fine.  We can play the game.

We have a veteran player on the team who has averaged 5.75 minutes/game over the last 4 games.

I cannot imagine he wants to spend his senior season as a spectator. I gotta think he'd be looking for a new opportunity, but what do I know?

Boogie is a graduate so I'm not sure he even needs this ruling to transfer somewhere if he really wanted to

.

This is a guy who started most every game he's been in since the middle of his freshman year so it's possible that his lack of spirited play is in part because he's finding it hard to come to grips with this new role.  Given how long it takes for guys to get up to speed with what we're doing on offense and defense we really need to see something out of him or Lloyd in the 2nd half of the season because we're a JL injury away from holding PG tryouts during conference play. Given that Henry Burt has logged more D-1 minutes than Lloyd, it really seems like we need to get Boogie back on track.

Yep— doesn’t seem Cale would take over that role if he’d even play PG at all.

I saw a tweet of B1G PG rankings and (yes they are an opinion) they had Nebraskas group as 14/14. Losing just JL would hurt immensely, but you have to think losing both would be even worse.

Not for sure KSU is the “get right” game for Boogie, but we have two more opportunities for him after that before conference play picks back up.
