They did mention, she was playing with 'turf toe'. Might have affected her play some.  I do agree, her contributions will be from the bench. As discussed in other threads, role players can make a difference.

Have not yet seen her play.  Hoping she can be like Emily Wood.  Lot's of energy, lot's of hustle and just a bit of a hard ass edge.  Coming off the bench like that can change a game for the positive.

It's not always how many minutes you get but how you use them.

Remember 2 years ago when people were saying if we have to play Sam Hoiberg we are in trouble.  Lets give Kennedi a fair chance.

Yes, and Prince for that matter. All the hype is dizzying. Let them get into a new level of game, and then see what they can do. Give them a chance to develop. It's a whole new ball game.

I thought hoping she does for the team one of my all time favs did was a good chance.  In truth NU would not gotten to the NCCA, without Emily Wood's energy and leadership.

I believe the TV announcer said she has "turf toe".  That can be very painful but usually doesn't have long term effects.  It is more common in FB.

She played extremely well if she was fighting a foot injury! She made a lot of hustle plays, got to the basket and created lots of open shots for teammates. Her inconsistent shooting (from 3pt range and around the basket) is concerning, but if she wasn’t at 100% at the state tournament, then I am impressed with what she was able to do.

when i heard it was a leg injury......i hoped for the best, but, this didn't surprise me.

i would expect a rs season.

i don't know anything about Kennadi, so not sure how much she could have contributed as a freshman (2024-25)

wish her a full recovery!

So she was going to play softball as well correct? BB would be out but maybe softball?

You are correct about also playing softball.

Some athletes are able to return in six or seven months; a realistic time frame is about ten months.  So yes, softball is certainly a possibility.

I sort of said the same thing about Allison.  These players are tough.  They will do anything to push the time frame.  You almost have to hold them back.

I do remember Danielle Page's 6 month recovery, but I'm not going to set my hopes that high.  I'm just satisfied with a full recovery, both mentally and physically
