I love that we're opening this up again. I'm totally in support. Idk what the whole dealio with tumbling and such is, I'd be more interested in getting male cheerleaders for the purpose of the cheer cones and chants on the sideline. Imo it's a great part of college hoops, of atmosphere to have the male and female cheerleader combo... idk much about it, but the bass in the cheer seems to help a lot in how great it sounds sometimes.

Glad to hear this.  At the B1G tourney in NYC and DC, and it seemed like our cheerleaders were there to look pretty while other squads were there to get the fans to cheer.  Even had a fan from some other team (can’t remember which one) say that to me.

Oh I’m guessing they will be cheering.  I think the article is just focusing on the tumbling aspect because that was the cause of them vanishing in the first place.

And probably some sort of agreement with their insurance and legal teams.

Lol I remember him coming to the games beating that drum of his.  I’m guessing PBA wouldn’t let him bring it in today.

This is great news, something that we've missed desperately ever since the accident.

 

But I need to add this, we MUST do something to fix the band as well, they're part of the spirit squad too.  Right now, and for a long time, our basketball band has been just horrible.  Atrocious.  Please Boehm DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE BAND.  Such an embarrassment to the program.

Just curious if anyone has info on season tickets. Currently have pretty good tickets for football so donation points have been building up for a few years but never been a basketball ticket holder. About 3 hours away so never made sense to get basketball tickets for so many games. That’s changed with this hire. 

 

How hard will it be to get 2 season tickets for next year? Put my name in for wait list. Any chance or are they most likely already spoken for?

100 level will be hard. 200 level is doable. Not sure how fast the 300 level sell out and previously they didn't require a donation

I have an inkling that I will be renewing all of our level one seats...that said, I am not sure how I can be any louder than I have been.

 

The elderly couple that sits in our section were going to give up their tickets next year...so anyone wanting level one seating should keep their eyes peeled.
