Jim Ledsome...really?  Didn't he choose to leave our program and go to Delaware?   Is Jordy still in town?  Perhaps we should honor him as well.

Sorry, perhaps that thought is a bit mean spirited.

I'm sure they even ask Andrew White if he's interested in coming back

Heck they asked back Lee B and he's spent the last 10+ years crapping on Boehm

Can someone enlighten me as to the perks that the ex-players receive as part of the legends weekend?  I assume the pre-night meal and ticket(s) to the game.  But what about lodging and travel and anything else that goes with it.

I guess I am always a bit underwhelmed by the lack of "star power" at the event.  Why aren't the ex-players embracing the program to a much greater extent?  Perhaps I am way off, but it just seems that the weekend is missing something(s).

Here is an example of POSITIVE.  I understand Brandon Ubel is in town, at least in part, to rehabilitate his knee.  I also know that he has been around the team as a result.  But I read somewhere that Brandon sat down with Isaiah before the N'western game and reviewed film.  I assume that is fine with the NCAA, and if so, why wouldn't that happen more often???

If I understand correctly, the guys get game tickets, dinner the night before, some stuff the day of, and whatever apparel they walk out in at the game. But paying for travel would get pretty insane with THAT many years of former players, which is why you pretty much see the locals every year + a few out-of-towners who come back in for it.

I've always thought Ubel would make a great analyst for BTN, ESPN, or some other outlet once his playing days are over, should he choose to follow that path.

Robbie Hummel has been a pleasant surprise on that front and I wouldn't expect anything less from Brandon Ubel either. Both are great ambassadors for the league as well.
