4-star freshman shooting guard Kwe Parker is leaving Tennessee.  If memory serves me, weren't we recruiting him at one point?  Isn't this the kid with huge leaping ability?

Yes and yes

4-star shooting guard Tevin Mack, 6-7, 220#, is leaving Texas.  Averaged 15 ppg as a sophomore this past year on 39% shooting from beyond the arc.  Didn't check to see if there's some baggage or not.

Probably too much to hope for.

Why was Robin making offers?

Didn't say Robin made the offer.  It says offered via Robin.

So, the way I would interpret that is that Robin conveyed the offer.  Kinda like the young kids nowadays having someone help them ask a girl to prom.

Robin probably stood in the Parker front yard with a sign that said, "Kwe, Tim Miles wants you to go 2 the Final 4 with him!"

Since we don't have bag men, that might have been the best way to make an impression.

Best guess, since we don't have bag men.

That's a fair point. And probably more reliable than delivering an offer via text message, phone call, in-home visit or the United States Postal Service.

By the way, this is just too good for us to pass up.

Arizona State has a four-star freshman center who has decided to take his talents elsewhere.  His name?  Wait for it ...

Jethro Tshisumpa.

And he's 6-10, 260#.

I'm sorry, but we just have to try to recruit that kid.

The TSH TOWERS!

I distinctly recall an inbounds pass that Kwe turned into a reverse-dunk. Yep.

DO IT!

Must have been in HS because he barely played in college.

UConn is shedding 4-star big men like nobody's business.

Steven Enoch, sophomore, 4-star, 6-11, 258#

Juwan Durham, freshman, 4-star, 6-11, 207#

Vance Jackson, freshman, 4-star, 6-8, 229#

And people are worried about our situation?

Considering UConn's situation has nothing to do with our situation...

Just because another school is leaking players doesn't mean I shouldn't be worried when my favorite team does.

i have to wonder if miles will take any guys that have to sit out. this is kind of an all or nothing year for miles. make the tourney and probably buy your self 3 more years or don't make the tourney and probably get fired.

Is that how you read what I said? I don't remember saying not to be worried about our situation.   Isn't that what they call a false dichotomy?

While you're shopping for your center + 2 guards I think you keep your eye on the transfer market. The only difference is this year you don't necessarily have the luxury of a long player where you whiff so I think we fill as we can.

Also, the guys we have on the roster currently should be able to get it done.  Just looking at the roster.  Maybe adding one more shooter would be a huge boost, but after that, I think you can afford a guy or two that has to sit out.

Looking at it again, I very well may have missed your point.

It makes much more sense now.

Thanks for the head slap!  I apparently needed it.  The couple beers after work didn't do much for my analytical skills.
