we're going to have to rediscover the concept of defense again if we're going to win this one.

 

We're not going to win many games with the score creeping into the 80s and 90s.

 

Still, a winnable game, as the last two were.

This team is quickly running out of time and opportunities to make  a push for some decent postseason play, so I'm hoping they'll come out a bit fired up for this one.

Ohio State leads Michigan State at halftime 36-33.

Zone, zone, zone, and more zone for this game.  Ohio State shoots 32 % from 3.  That will hopefully help our defense.

Whatever happens, I hope NU can find a way to make a fool out of Jae'Sean Tate again in some fashion (recall Webster driving around the idiot as he's slapping the floor last year).  Easily my most disliked player in the B1G.  He whines and cries after every foul even if it's obvious he just committed aggravated assualt.

Very entertaining slugfest between OSU & MSU right now - Bucknuts seems to be putting more effort into this game than I've seen them play with the majority of the season.

 

Probably wouldn't be all bad to see them get a win before they come to Lincoln.

Definitely hard to get a handle on what's going to happen from day to day throughout the conference.  Early on, there hasn't seemed to be much advantage to being at home.  NU really needs to lock down the home court, but that's going to be difficult, especially with Morrow out.  Really need him back soon.
