Remember Shatel wondering which would happen first: a Husker Big 10 win or a Jay Valley loss. Both occurred on the same day and back to back. [Twilight Zone music playing in the background]

Only bad thing about Creighton losing is it affects our RPI just a tick...not that it matters, but, you know...

Oregon picks up a nice road win at UCLA though, so I suppose it evens out a bit.

You might be right, but I'm thinking it was Chatelain that threw out that pondering.

We're still worried about that?

Hey, if today was the start of a six game winning streak, we are.  ;)

It doesn't really matter this year, but the schedule that Tim put together is just what Nebraska needs.  I know some of the games Doc has already scheduled, but we have only played 2 200+ RPI teams all year.  Our RPI is 68th which is pretty remarkable.

Hope he continues this in the future which I'm sure he will...I think the only reason CSU made the tourney last year was they played a tough non con schedule.  Keep those 250+RPI teams off the schedule save for maybe Omaha.

I know it probably won't happen but if we win 6 or 7 more games (unlikely, but if we play like we did @Mich and @MSU) who knows...still have 7 home games left and 4 are very winnable, we could sneak into the NIT, because our RPI would still be pretty high.

Yep any other year under Doc with this talent and this record our RPI would be hovering in the 150 range right now.

Shame on you guys...starting a BlueJay thread...the shame.

I'm confused. There's way too many complete sentences/correct punctuations to be a Shocker thread. I hope the pipes don't freeze in their trailers tonight.

Great win by the Shockers and congratulations to the Huskers.
