this one hurts. But hopefully it just motivates these kids to keep working as hard as they can and get better. 

if we can just get one more player to emerge as a real threat in the next two months, this is a salvageable season.

 

this is a nasty stretch to have for a young team like this. but they're at least proving competitive,

 

They'll be pretty tested going into the conference, and hopefully we'll get those two players we need to emerge by then.

We really can't afford to wait that long.  Any hopes of tourney and we'll have to beat CU or KU.  We've let 2 go in a row now.  No room to wiggle now.  Unless, you plan on running 11 wins out in conf., we're cooked.

Who do you replace them with?  Are you going to trust Roby, a freshmen who missed the first 2 weeks of practice, and Horne who is a true freshmen?  That's your choices.  Roby had 0 points in 8 minutes.  Horne didn't get time.  He should have gotten a few minutes to see what he could do. 

 

Here's your rotation

 

PG - Watson 40 minutes

SG- Webster 40 minutes

SF- Roby 30 minutes

PF- Jacobson 20 minutes

C- Morrow 40 minutes

 

Jordy off the bench for 20 minutes

Horne off the bench for 10 minutes

 

That's not feasible.
