  2. Yes, but the new formula makes blowing out lesser teams a big priority.

  3. She's already said NIL won't factor into her decision, those deals will go with her to the WNBA... State Farm, Hy-Vee, Nike, HR Block, Topps, Bose, etc. Caitlin said she'll consider the draft order, but will go with her gut. If she comes out this year she'll either go to Indiana, Phoenix, Los Angeles, or Seattle (draft order TBD.) If she waits until '25 she'll likely be headed to the new Golden State (San Francisco) expansion team. I think she comes out after this season, especially if Indy or Phoenix gets the top pick - Indy is setup to break through with their young talent and in Phoenix she'd yet a year with Diana Taurasi.

  4. They have us mid pack, which is an OK spot to start. And what they said about the team may be fairly accurate. Even without Weidner (if she can't play), we will have a pretty solid squad overall. Some new blood to integrate that looks good from what little we've seen so far. The key may be how can we replicate the versatility of Bourne ? She very valuable scoring and rebounding and many other ways.

  5. New was relative. I'm surprised this is the 5th year it has been around.

It is indeed another ACL. Going to be rough to come back from. She may never be the same but she will be good for the team still. Reminds me of Kissinger from Minden.

  7. I'll let him go into more detail if he wants but essentially the NET favors large MOV over quality of competition it looks like. For example last year Rutgers played an absolute garbage non-con schedule (338th strongest per KenPom) and they won a lot of those games by 30-40 points. If they could have done better than 2-6 down the stretch last season they probably would have gotten in the NCAAs. Same story for Penn State, they had the 304th non con SOS, won big in non con and didn't collapse down the stretch in conference play and got themselves a 10 seed. Rutgers went 8-3 in non con and 10-10 in conference play. Penn State went 9-2 and 10-10. For comparison, Torvik has us with an expected NCSOS of 197 and predicts 9-2 and 10-10 for us. KenPom doesn't have a NCSOS up yet and has us going 8-3 and 9-11.

  8. Can you imagine if Thor had had a jumper half as good as Keisei's? And by half, I don't mean in terms of percentage. I'm not talking math. I'm talking esthetics. I mean, if he could have mustered even low-30s from deep, he would have been one of our best players this century.

  9. If we do that, it would put us at 21-10 overall and 12–8 in conference before the big 10 tournament and I daresay that would be more than enough to get us in.

As previously mentioned this is a big opportunity for Kendall M. Her height at the 3 position could be a big help.

  11. I mean looking at this it does seem like Burt grew quite a bit - good for him. That's true dedication to the program and his personal development. His eye level is exactly the same height as Eli Rice's who's listed at 6'8". So as far as looking over fences and traps, they're the same height. IDK FELLAS - THIS LOOKS LIKE A GOOD LOOKING BASKETBALL TEAM BABY

    Braden Frager is N

He and Eli are very similar and will be a matchup nightmare at the 3-4 as athletic lefties who can stretch the court from 3 or muscle it inside and dunk on you. Pick your poison. What a great get. He’s an outstanding passer and defender to boot. He’ll fit in extremely well. You’re going to have a hell of a time finding a more athletic 3-5 than Frager, Rice, and Diop in the entire country let alone the B1G. Add a top 100 player like Janowski at the 2 and sprinkle some transfers in with JL at the 1. Scoring, skill, shooting, and athleticism everywhere. It’s about to get scary for NU moving forward, and I’m not really a sunshine pumper. Fred fixed the culture last season and the athletes followed. Kudos to the staff.

  14. If you're one of the people who pays attention to who's wearing the red jerseys, it looks like ... Rienk Josaih Brice Jamarques Boogie Perhaps more noteworthy than who's in red is the fact I don't see Keisei in any color jersey in either of these clips. Injury report?
