Good team effort.  I will also credit the staff for making proper adjustments at half.  What was starting to look like a debacle, ended with a comfortable win.

3-0 in buy games - just 1 to go to a perfect season - haven't done that in a while.

Probably not a win under any other Hoiberg era team. 
 

Congrats to the boys. Played hard and pulled away. Made the necessary adjustments. 

Strong Incarnate Word vibes at the end of the first half. I sacrificed chicken sandwich at halftime. Must have worked.

The physicality they put on display in the first half vs St. John’s proved to be real. 

Played a good first 10 minutes, and really good for the final 18 minutes.  That 12 minute span in between, should not be on any highlight pages.

Boxing out is better.  Defense played well except for that 12 minute lull.  Must needed win.  

I'm worried this team is good enough to beat the teams they should.  I don't know if they are good enough to beat the teams they shouldn't.  That beats the alternative of losing to the teams we should beat.

I know a non-profit guy in Omaha who has spent a lot of time in Bamako, Mail, (Blaise Keita’s hometown) and is fluent in French.  Would there be any benefit in trying to make a connection there?

Nebraska started with a 22-11 run, then UAPB went on a 33-14 run, & Nebraska finished this one off with a 46-14 run. Wild game.

I’ll admit I’m no X and O’s expert and have not watched a ton of Husker hoops this year but I thought the reason we brought in Howard was to utilize a matchup zone?

Glad the Huskers were able to put together a nice 2nd half and lock up a victory.  It is going to kill my HHC standings as I predicted a loss.  Glad to be wrong.

Oftentimes you would see Sam lining up on the baseline on defense.  When I saw that, I automatically thought they were in there structured match-up zone.

Hell of a win! Now lets see what we are made of. Hard to make too many judgements about the team until we see Walker with Sam, Gary, Bando, and CJ. He is a rock on both ends of the floor.

After seeing the adjustment Hoiberg made at half and how he used Sam I'm excited to see how Sam and Derrick operate together

Saw it one possession and Pine Bluff did not score and it kind took them out of their rhythm.  Not sure if they played again but sometimes a match up looks like a man.  I think we will see it more as the season moves on.
