RPI only dropped 4 spots to #38...so not terrible.  If we don't want to sweat it out on Monday thought they better win tomorrow.  Was really hoping we would FINALLY bring home some hardware.  Going to be tough having to win 5 games in the next four days.

Sort of laid an egg today.  We got the focus slapped out of us.  Need to get the mojo back and take care of business on Thursday.

Forget today and play hard tomorrow. Indiana is reeling right now so hope that helps.

Really they only had one inning and if we don't have that inning we win 1-0.

We still have two guys who can give us quality starts and then maybe get one from Knutson and it is the second game on Saturday. So just play hard tomorrow and then go from there.

Having our best hitter out of the lineup is a big deal.  Some think it's just an excuse, but losing that pop in the middle of the lineup makes us a different team.  Today we had Taylor Fish hitting in the 5 spot.  That doesn't work.

Mich St was the last team I wanted to face in the first game.....even though we took the series from them that was just a crappy draw. It's about matchups and with them throwing their ace lefty thats just not a good matchup for us.  This team for whatever reason just does not hit lefty pitching all that great.  Indiana's bats are ice cold so hopefully that continues thru today.

Back to back years finishing 0-2 in the Big Ten tournament.  Not getting it done.    I'd like to think we are still okay in making a regional but who knows.
