Not unless we get a second round of storms.  Temps in Lincoln are pretty moderate, so things are looking pretty positive right now.  Of course, they may fly into Omaha which may be more affected by the storm than Lincoln.

Okay I was just wondering as it is still snowing out here in the tri cities. so I thought it might be effecting the Lincoln area as well.

No way they aren't flying straight into Lincoln

Do most teams fly direct into Lincoln?

Most fly into Lincoln.  I imagine a few fly into Omaha, but I have to believe all the Big Ten teams fly into Lincoln these days.

I would imagine that if you are in a power conference, you have a travel budget. If you have a travel budget, then you probably fly into Lincoln.

Don't be like non-travel-budget Rob Lowe.

Based on this, I suggest Maryland has arrived in Lincoln.  I also suggest that the landing was less than fun.

Maryland vs. Nebraska preview: Terps continue bid for top tournament seed against Huskers - Testudo Times

This game should serve as the cupcake of the week – Nebraska lost to Samford by double-digits in late December. – for the No. 4 Terrapins, before they return home later in the week to face No. 24 Purdue. If all goes well, it could be a building week for the Terps in their journey to the top, as No. 2 North Carolina fell Monday night to No. 21 Louisville.

Pretty much dialed in the entire article. If Maryland overlooking us is part of our winning formula tonight, this is a good sign. The only team in conference Maryland has killed on the road was a Northwestern squad with a gaudy 13-2 record

The writer does realize that we did go into East Lansing and beat a MSU team that Maryland lost to in the next game?

This Nebraska team is a totally different team than the one that loss to Samford. I think we are just as good as Ohio State, who Maryland had all sorts of problems with on Sunday.

The prevailing thought among the Terps faithful is that the only offensive threat on our team is Shavon, who they look at as being a "chucker".  All they need to do is put Layman on him and lock him down and we're cooked.

I can't say they're absolutely wrong, but we have had guys emerge as offensive threats in games in the past.  It could happen again.

Meanwhile, they've got Trimble, Carter and Stone forming a legitimate triple threat with Layman, Suliamon and Dodd being pretty stout in their own right.

I mean, I guess I can't disagree with them.  We've got a serious uphill battle brewing for us tonight.
