Maryland has scored 168 runs in their last 12 games.  Wow!

This team is extremely frustrating.   Cut the Maryland lead from 6 - 2 to 6 - 4 in the 8th.  Maryland gets runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.  Bunz comes in and strikes out the batter.  Then, fails to cover the plate on a ball barely passed the catcher and throws another wild pitch.  Both runners score.  Now, the games all but over.

NU lost 8-4 at UM. It was a 5-run fifth inning that ultimately doomed the Huskers. Nebraska doesn't have the blatant firepower of the Terps.

We are 3rd in the Big 10 in batting average, 2nd in home runs, 4th in runs scored, 2nd in ERA, 1st in fielding %.  Somehow, we are 24 - 18 - 1.  That to me says we don't know how to win games.

Getting behind and not mounting comebacks until the final inning isn't any way to win conference games, let alone mid-week ballgames. Nebraska is rudderless, it seems.

If we get swept we could be in the danger zone for missing the B1G tournament. Really disappointed in this year's team.

Nebraska scores 5 in the 1st.  Maryland scores 4 in the next 2 innings.  Nebraska still batting having scored 4 in the 3rd.  Small strike zone according to Greg and Ben combined with the ball carrying will make for a rather high scoring game.

Why did we not ask for a review on Caron leaving early?

Anybody watching the game?  I am just listening.   It sounds like the HP is horrible at calling strikes especially low.

I don't like the feeling I'm getting from this game.  Brice with his daily error at a terrible time again.  Instead of 12 - 7 it is 12 - 9.  Caron with a passed ball and Shay with a wild pitch and the 2 runs score.

Just listening.  12-9 Huskers top of 7.  This husker team is the most Jekyll and Hyde team I can remember.
