Hey, at least the Bachelor provided a modicum of doubt last night. The way the basketball team is finishing the year, the only thing in doubt seems to be whether we will face Penn State or Rutgers in the tournament.

I'll take bad basketball over bad, brainless TV any day!

Congrats to all who watched or listened to the game last night-you are all better fans than I. I turned on ESPN once in the first half and we were already down by double digits. Opted for tape of Monday's Bachelor and never looked back. Perusing the threads and  the LJS this morning made me glad I chose to try the Fantasy Suite rather than pursue the fantasy hope of seeing a competitive game last night. Believe me when I say that I am here for all the right reasons but it is getting so hard for me now. Three more games to go and only two Walters left. What to do?

Go on a 'Walter' search?   (  I've got one you can have  ;))

Nothing like a game on National TV to help out with recruiting...

...to prove, once again, to the nation how much we suck ass as a program. I'm in it for the long haul but it's hard to be a sker fan atm. I'll admit now that I gave up on this team after the tough stretch ending in creighton. Hard to cheer for a team that doesn't put it all on the floor. As any good Devaney dungeon acolyte, I'll say "we'll be better next year" (depressing as it is lol)

My wife's sister just sent her the boxed set for the entire 5th season of Downton Abbey.   Last night, after the game, she had me join her in a Downton Abbey marathon.  I must say, after 4 episodes of Downton, the Husker game didn't seem so bad after all.

Damn, Norm.   That's taking one for the team.  I hope you were rewarded for your efforts....  ;)  (With the wife, not the sister)

I know Leslee isn't healthy, but did he suffer a setback?

If it was just a substitution thing (Miles didn't think he was effective in his 5 minutes) then I start to wonder if our whole substitution patterns are off. Guys play 30 minutes one game and hardly play the next. It's been that way for everyone not named Terran, Shavon, Walt, or Benny....

I don't know if Leslee had a setback from a physical standpoint, but he sure had one from a playing standpoint.  Those first few minutes were as bad as I've seen in a long time.   Hard to have him on the floor playing like that....

He hasn't been the same since he came back from his injury this past summer. Doesn't seem to have as much lift or quickness as before.

Looks like it swelled up after the Iowa game
