Need to understand that we are going to win a bunch more games forcing teams to shoot 27% from the floor and 20% from 3.  Plus, they only shot 8 free throws, I think 0 in the 2nd half, or maybe 3 but none in the last 15 minutes.

Nebraska only shot 5 FT need to get to the rim more.

I thought the refs had a lot to do with that.  They seemed to call the game like it should be called.  Where they only called fouls if it impeded the offensive player.  If we could get these refs for most games.  I would be happy.  If Hess is calling this game, we would have had 50 free throw attempts between the 2 teams.

I thought the refs did a good job as did most on here. No complaining during game on here. I did see a foul that I thought they missed, an Illinois player shoved Shavon when he was setting a screen.

I know you weren't complaining.  Just saying that they seemed to swallow the whistle including a few times we took it to the basket.

Good solid win over a good solid team.

Exactly... And that Rutgers win last Thursday might also have been a solid win, too, with news that RU came back from 12 down at half to knock off a depleted Wisconsin squad. I'd imagine that the Badgers will be at full strength on Thurs. to payback NU for #NoSitSunday!

Personally, while at the game, I thought we had this game won after the first two minutes.  Don't know why, but for whatever reason, I thought we were that much better than Illinois.  Nice to say.

Exactly why I didn't bother posting in this gt
