Heartbreaking

It is being reported that Lacy, the 8 year old girl that became friends with Adrian Payne died this morning from cancer.  Here is a story on their friendship and what they ment to each other.  What a sad, sad deal as can't image what Adrian and Lacy's family is going through.

I was shocked by this news this morning. She looked like she was doing well at the last few games and slam dunk contest. Really terrible news

A good life is not measured by time, but by the way it was spent. Although it was short, I'm sure she had a pretty amazing life. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and Payne.

To bad Payne couldn't have won that belt her, As he really wanted her to have it. And maybe he knew her time was short.

Payne is a very lucky guy, he got to learn what unconditional love of another person is. Some never get that chance. He will be a better man and person because of it.

It is very sad but it changed his life for the better. He most likely won't be one of the guys who goes to the NBA and wastes everything. He has had the chance to grow up.

That little girl was a true hero.

AP put himself out there in this situation.  The fact that he was compassionate enough to tie himself to another in need deserves 100000000 +1 in my book.
