doc1394 Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 I was shocked by this news this morning. She looked like she was doing well at the last few games and slam dunk contest. Really terrible news Quote

HuskerFever Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 A good life is not measured by time, but by the way it was spent. Although it was short, I'm sure she had a pretty amazing life. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and Payne. roscoe, a0t0w0 and Bugeaters1 3 Quote

Bugeaters1 Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 I was shocked by this news this morning. She looked like she was doing well at the last few games and slam dunk contest. Really terrible news To bad Payne couldn't have won that belt her, As he really wanted her to have it. And maybe he knew her time was short. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 Payne is a very lucky guy, he got to learn what unconditional love of another person is. Some never get that chance. He will be a better man and person because of it. It is very sad but it changed his life for the better. He most likely won't be one of the guys who goes to the NBA and wastes everything. He has had the chance to grow up. That little girl was a true hero. ShortDust, a0t0w0, Bugeaters1 and 2 others 5 Quote

The fact that he was compassionate enough to tie himself to another in need deserves 100000000 +1 in my book. My thoughts are with the family and everyone who knew Lacey. Quote
