Lack of new names?

With three available 'ships open and the start of spring signing date fast approaching, I keep waiting for new names to be linked to our recruiting efforts. It almost gives the impression our coaches have at least a couple guys secretly locked up....especially with Miles' comments on how he is excited for this signing period to start so he can add the missing pieces and how people may view them as "odd" but will take us to the next level.

I'm pretty sure it's been a dead week for recruiting according to NCAA rules up until the Final Four is finished.  Activity ought to pick up this week and drag into May.  We've got our work cut out for adding meaningful depth to next year's roster, though, don't we?

And keep in mind, there is a good chance Miles won't fill all 3 spots right away.  He might hold 1 for the 2015 class or even 2016 class to try and get some top notch high school kids.  So don't be surprised if we only sign 2 kids next week instead of 3.

If they are a grad transfer who can play right away, we get to bring someone in for next year and have a spot in the 2015 class.  The best of both worlds.

Well to Menke he only got the ship one year. It was held until second semester this year and given to Peltz. That ship being held is what people thought would be why Whittington would choose NU because of Hunter and the fact they had a scholly free for him to take ASAP.
