Seth Greenberg just picked us to go to elite 8 against Oklahoma State for a chance to go to the final four. Everybody else was pretty much destroying him

We definitely are one of the more dangerous double-digit seeds.

 

Over the last 12 games of the regular season, among major conference teams, only Virginia, Villanova, Louisville, N Carolina, and Florida matched or exceeded NU's 10-2 to close the regular season. That's a group of #1, #1, #2, #4, and #6 seeds.

 

Certainly Baylor has been playing at a very high level to close the season, having won 10 of 12 including the conference tournament. And then there's Creighton, who closed the season including the BE Tourney winning 11 of 15.

 

This is a strong quad, but we definitely have a shot to come out of it. Vegas has under-respected NU throughout the last half of the season, and consequently we went 14-4-1 against the number. So for us to only be a 3.5-pt dog to Baylor shows this is a pretty even match up.

call me crazy, but its a one game playoff each round, with 3 players and possibly a 4th that can get crazy hot, and a pesky pg that does not give up on d, and makes timely shots, plus DRivers who is tenacious...it can happen.
