I sure hope you're right that Pitch was just a scare.  I will be ever so relieved when I get certain confirmation.  Last thing we need when we're trying to make a stretch run and FINALLY get to the dance is an injury to a key starter.  Ugh.  Like a curse.

 

But, honestly, about that other guy?  If I had seats down there where I could access the floor level like that guy, I'd have probably exchanged some words with Mr. Thugosaurus myself.  That guy was dirty.  He plays like he's from State Penn, not Penn State.  In fact, we should start writing it "Penn, State."

Yea it just would have been a bad deal had the penn state kid reacted. No reason to do that luckily nothing happened so its not a big deal. Just don't need is on espn for the wrong reason.

Walt was a scare in terms of no tear etc. He could be ready come Sunday but if it swells and the ice doesn't help he may not be ready. Glad game is at home Sunday. Not a season ending deal though. Hope he gets back quick he is really playing well!

Holy crap that guys needs to be banned for life from Husker sports.  He deserves much worse, but that is what should happen to him in the least.

 

He left his seat and went down about 12 rows to get in the guys face.  Part of me wishes the PSU guy would have laid him out, he would have definitely deserved it.

It is not acceptable to approach a player walking off the floor.  If he yelled from his seat, that could still be wrong (depending upon the comment - see Texas Tech), but this individual left his seat and approached the player.  That is never, ever acceptable.  Sorry, but it isn't.

More like 25 rows....what compels a person to do something like that?  The ushers talked amongst themselves after the incident, but I never saw any University or PBA officials go up there and talk to the "fan" did anyone else see?  Hop he got kicked out

I was out of my seat angry with officials tonight and even booing the penn state team/coach for techs. However leaving your seat and literally the usher just caught him in time or it would have been bad.

Just a dumb thing and something I have not seen at NU.

Either way lets not make this thread a distraction. Great win and a lot of fun tonight at the vault!

No he kind of stood off to the side and was behind him. An usher kind of stood between them and kind of "ushered" back up towards his seat.

Later another usher did go up and say something to him.

When he was going back to his seat he got about 3 or 4 high 5's from some others as he he walked by them.

I did get a guy behind me pull on my shirt to sit down. I was up because all of the 100 section was standing and 200 and 300 was getting to thier feet.

I didn't sit down but it was also kind of weird.

The guy left sometime soon after.

Watched him all the way. I thought he should have been tossed. Unfortunately when the usher went back up the aisle it was only to tell him to return to his seat. PBA needs to tighten the security. No reason to even let fans get close to that vom.

I was in 119 and we were empty all around us at the 2 min mark. We will never with that battle

First off I start my post with I know the guy and watching from home knew immediately it was him. I text him and asked if he heckled the player, he said no the coach was thrown out. Needless to say guys it's been a long night for him and he knows it wasn't a smart decision. His name will not be divulged so do not ask me.
