bkamler Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 About two or three years ago, at home games in our student section there was a young man in the first row that danced to the music in a memorable if not coordinated fashion. Our family nick named him the "Dancing Machine". He graduated from UNL and went to Northwestern as a grad student. He has been at our home games during Christmas breaks since then and he of course cheered for UNL. There was an article about him in the Lincoln Journal I believe. Today, he was in the first row of the NW student section wearing NW colors, cheering for NW and dancing as only he can dance. In my book, he is a traitor! Jadler Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 That's our boy Noah! You can't see it but the other side of his hard hat has a Nebraska N on it. Quote

And if you looked, he was cheering when Petteway drained a three toward the end of the game. Quote
49r Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 He was cheering for the Huskers just as hard as he was for Northwestern. I won't down vote you for your post, because you are certainly entitled to your opinion. However, I've met Noah in person and he's a great kid. I will just say "agree to disagree" on this one. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 My guess is Kamler knows its Noah and just wanted to flip the dancing fool some crap. Bugeaters1 and 49r 2 Quote

I would bet he looks a lot like Noah 121 Noah, You need to weigh in and defend yourself from these turncoat allegations...say it ain't true! I'll bet you were at least wearing red underwear. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 Noah is a great kid. Games like today are probably great/terrible/great/terrible. Quote
49r Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 My guess is Kamler knows its Noah and just wanted to flip the dancing fool some crap. That's an excellent point. And if true, then disregard the entirety of my earlier post. All of it! Except for Noah being a great kid and cheering equally for both teams today...and that I've met him in person. And that I'm absolutely NOT going to down vote anything. But the rest, just forget the rest!!! Quote

I also hate that he stands the entire game, makes noise, AND stays for the entire game. The nerve he has. He must have learned these things from Northwestern. dskurz Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 Noticed while we would shoot FT he would sit down while others were up trying to be distractions. Noticed the dance moves have improved as well. Kudos Noah. Quote
bkamler Posted February 8, 2014 Author Report Posted February 8, 2014 Didn't see him right away but when I did Noah was dancing to the NW fight song. From what I read about him he does seem like a great kid but to be clear I have four great kids who would never have split loyalties if there was a conflict like this one. that said I wish Noah nothing but good fortune. Noah121 Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Did my post get deleted? One thing for sure: I am not good at detecting sarcasm on the boards. Either way, it is one of those things where I am still a Husker fan at heart, but as a Northwestern student, I have to be cheering for Northwestern at their games. But, I never cheer AGAINST the other team, especially when that team is Nebraska. And indeed, I was cheering for Nebraska's baskets and good plays, as some others had mentioned too. jimmykc Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 It's ok, Noah, you can have two loves at the same time. You must not watch the Bachelor enough. a0t0w0 1 Quote
