The thing that jumps out to me is the team total of 6 assists. Against better teams we need more assists because those are usually tied to easy baskets. The penetration is nice but we can't have that much of our offense self-created and beat quality teams. Must get easy buckets.

Talking with my brother today, he thinks this is the deepest team we've had talent-wise since 90-91.  I was ready to ask him for some of whatever he was on, but he might have a point.  When you look at the 9-10 man rotation, there is some ability there.  Does he have a point?

Lot of selfish ball in the 2nd half tonight.  Guys looking for their own shots, forcing things, out of system junk.  Two fast breaks where the one guy tries to take it all the way by himself without even looking for anyone filling a lane -- with predictable results.

 

That crap has to get fixed and now.

I can see how that really would jump out because Biggs was on the sideline in street clothes.

I counted seven, perhaps eight passes that should have led to baskets.  The shot either was not taken or was missed.  That will come.  The first half, we looked good, in the second half, we went through the motions, yet played well enough to keep a strong lead.  Let's not be too greedy.  We are a young team that seems to learn exponentially.
