FredsSlacks Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 that's the tallest i've seen him listed by anyone. Not sure if that is his real height, but I doubt too many 6'4 players have the skillset that Tai has. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 Who's John Rothstein and how would he have seen Tai to know what kind of contributor he may or may not be. DID SOMEONE GO TO PRACTICE AND THEY DIDN'T INVITE ME?!?!?! That's an outrage up with which I cannot put. tcp 1 Quote

DID SOMEONE GO TO PRACTICE AND THEY DIDN'T INVITE ME?!?!?! That's an outrage up with which I cannot put. He's a CBS reporter. Miles is on good terms with CBS and ESPN guys. (Along with local guys, which is also important. But it's good, too, to have the national guys appreciating what you do.) Quote
49r Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 Well, even at 6'4", he's still no Magic Johnson... ....aaaand, take it away cip! Norm Peterson 1 Quote
MandRHusker Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 I've seen Tai's height listed as 6'3", 6'2" and once at 6'1". This is the first I've seen at 6'4". I hope he has grown!!! By the way, Tai's brother Cory is listed at 6'2". Quote
kldm64 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 I know a student at UNL who played pickup games with Walter and Tia this past week and said that Tia can ball. I'll be very surprised if this kid isn't starting at the season opener. Quote

Our team may suck, but we'll be hot. Especially if she can, you know, ball. atskooc 1 Quote

Silverbacked1 Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 He may be the second coming but we also need to remember that he is. very young man who is. looooooong way from home. So we might need to live with the ups and downs of Tai and the others. But that being said it sure is great to be a Husker fan today. Norm Peterson, hhcmatt and 49r 3 Quote

That's he's very athletic and like to play as a wing player and is a very good shooter. Can even step out and hit from behind the arc. Even better is that I hear he is just a great person. Quote

I was fully expecting a "yeah but Christian Standhardinger and his Magic Johnson" quip here. Guess it really *is* the offseason... Quote
