Why do you have K-State listed twice?

He doesn't have K-State listed at all.  He also doesn't have KSU listed.  He does have Kansas State and Kansas St both listed, though.  Coincidentally, they both lost their first round games, it appears.

Hey, Nebraska might be the only Big Eight team not to lose in the first round of the tourney this year!  :)

That 16 beating a 1 thing is going to happen sometime.  Might as well be this year....

Gonzaga was room service for that upset, but still 6 or so points short. KU will survive. Might be the only 12 team that gets past the first round. Rough year for our old mates.

Colorado - Loss

Iowa St - Win

Kansas St - Loss

Kansas - Win

Mizzou - Loss

Oklahoma - Loss

Okie State - Loss

2-5 in the first round

Just wish NU had been one of 'em: a loss in the big dance is WAY better than 2 consecutive losing campaigns (and 3 out of 4). But, alas, brighter days are certainly ahead for BIG RED!

What I find rather interesting is the outlook of the current Big East:

(5) No post-season appearance: Connecticut, DePaul, Rutgers, Seton Hall, South Florida
(5) Lost in NCAA 1st Round: Cincinnati, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Villanova
(2) Still alive in NIT 2nd Round: Providence, St. John's
(3) Still alive in NCAA 2nd Round: Louisville, Marquette, Syracuse

(10) Post-season
(5) No post-season

The Big East was able to get 2/3 of their teams into post-season play, but half of those teams dropped in the first round. I'm not sure if it has to do with the Big East hype finally catching up to them or what, but it's interesting nonetheless.

It's not as good as it was a couple of years ago but 3 teams in the sweet 16 is solid in any season.

KU is the last hope for the old Big 8.  I'm sensing an upset here.  Sorry, jimmy.

It's not starting out the best for KU...

They'll get back in it.  They're still explosive and McAdoo just got in foul trouble.
