I’m trying to figure out how in a game where they’re getting T’ed up and arm barring us to the ground all over the place, they’re in the double bonus and we’re two away from the bonus.

Seemed every bounce went their way tonight. Their touch shots in the post were  all world.

Can’t be too disappointed with our health issues.  Maryland was poised down the stretch.  On to Northwestern.

To be honest, I'm not sure how Nebraska had it so close for half the game. Their sharp shooter couldn't hit a shot (this is starting to become a trend), Morgan was in foul trouble, and they couldn't get a step, and they had it within single digits most of the game. Maryland made everything too, even toughly contested shots. 

 

Tip of the cap to Maryland. Move on and best NW and PSU.

I had a feeling it would be a bad omen when our women kicked Maryland's ass. Cosmic forces just don't allow that much joy in one evening.

And, it seemed every ball went their way.  We had I think 4 balls on the defensive end where we just about had a steal.  The ball bounces to Maryland and we are out of position leading to a lay-up.  

 

Get healthy and go out and play our game.  Fully healthy we are a tournament team.

We didn't have it tonight.  Dead men walking.  Maryland was simply hot and every time we tried to climb back into the game, they provided a counter.  It sucks.

Played about as good as we could've play considering the circumstances we were under with Berke out, Brice and Conor having the flu.  Maryland just hit insanely tough shots down the stretch, can't be to mad at that when the other team is just hitting shots.  Not out of it getting these next 2 would pretty much solidify our tourney hopes and put less pressure on those last 4 games.

Maryland had a better arsenal than NU, and showed it too. The two teams combined had a grand total of 4 points off of the bench. If NU could have found 2-3 more threes from the bench, I think potentially that was a different outcome. That's about all I will say. Nebraska needs to bounce back and prove to have a road warrior mentality this next week. GBR
