Robin Roberts, et al will never make it as PBP Announcers ( I had to mute it - getting tired of watching them drink coffee on the screen too)
Iowa -13, SC -2
now
Iowa - 18, SC 7

Finally got the right channel!

OK it's a Game:  27-20 at the end of the First Quarter of Play.   Announcers said Caitlen Clark w/18 pts.

Half-Time: So Carolina by Three 49-46.

So Carolina seems to have the advantage in denying Iowa in the paint and in rebounding; also steals. They seem to want it more. Iowa is going to have to adjust if they are going to win!

South Carolina, Your (Undefeated) National Champions: 87-75!

So Carolina's Defense defeats Iowa's Offense.

USC had the much better team, tbh. USC was filled with ballers while IA had C.C. and several decent other players. I wonder if Taylor McCabe can take over the C.C. role for them next year, assuming that's why T.M.C. hadn't left IA.

Maybe a hot take, but I was really impressed with Hannah Stuelke. I'm not sure how effective Clark could have been this season without her.

As much as some people hate to hear this, Clark herself has helped to transform that Iowa program. And brought a lot of attention back to women's sports. I can disagree with a lot of things about Clark herself, but that part I can't deny.

The bench play was huge. I think it ended up with SC bench had about 35 pts and Iowa had zero.

Any of the SC second team bench could start on about any B1G team. They must have 3 or 4 bench players at 6-3 or taller

The epitome of a deep bench.

C.C. had a gal last season even better than Hannah Stuelke. They still will need a gal to get it to the post players, maybe IA has someone else waiting in the wings.... I guess we shall see.

Iowa has a commitment from the  top point guard in California but I think it is for 2025.  Pretty hard to project McCabe as the starting point guard when she didn't play much in two years with not much bench competition.

I saw that, a gal named Addison, or somethin' like that. I'm sure she's a good one. They have a system that's proven to work... T.M.C. should've left for Lincoln, but maybe she knows somethin' we don't...

iowa may be good without Clark, but, she took them to another level. like i have read, a once in a generation talent. iowa will not have a player that will demand the attention Clark did. still, i think they will be in that top 3 for awhile.

Why is it sad? He probably knows more about what goes on within the WNBA than we do.
