And the Iowegians score 24 in the second half and lose by 26. Guessing Fran-con was close to an 2 in the second half.

Fran has been placid by his standards. I think he knows the jig is up.

Minnesota comes back from 14 down to defeat USC by 3, then does it again by overcoming a 17-point deficit at UCLA, winning 64-61 tonight. Dawson Garcia scored 27 of the team's 41 second-half points. Only the Gophers and Wolverines have swept their trip to LA! Oh, and UCLA only made 5 of their 15 FTs in the 2nd half. Wow.

Don't have to look very far back to remember them coming back on us at the Barn.  They're a team too dumb to know they're not supposed to win games.

Can you imagine a team looking like that?

I think if you take NU's performance last night and compare with OSU's performance tonight, NU comes out on top. Both games also tell me that when a team is playing for it's post-season life that team can be pretty damn good. Guess I am reiterating what Matt says above.

I don’t understand not being mentally ready to play.  Don’t put on the uniform if you aren’t ready to play.  You only get so many games.

I think every coach who has ever coached has at one point in time had that same thought.

Have to wonder if teams in the basement of the conference are more motivated than usual because the bottom 3 don't make the tourney.

This was my initial thought— technically, even Oregon is still at risk of at least tying for a bottom 3 spot.

I know this isn’t going to be popular idea but these guys have played too many games in there lives.

AAU almost year around.  Some High Schools playing 30 game seasons in like 8 different states.

i mean we are on our 27th game right now.  With 5 to go then who knows how many more.

it would be really, really hard to get up for every game.

i feel it is too much.  Kind of like how there are too many teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB.  it is too deluded for there to be quality play every game.

Hey I know i’m being an old man. But maybe it could be better if there was less games and travel.  Also know that I need to go yell at those clouds and tell those kids too get off my snowy lawn😏
