Did a bit of research on Quora.  Granted I cannot guarentee anything; but an average male in the U.S. will grow between 2 and 6 inches from ages 15 to 18.  Much depends on genetics, nutrition and overall health.

So Braden seems to have the potential to gain some height prior to landing on campus.  For comparison sake, look at the height gain by Eli...

That was kind of surprising news about Braden Frager classifying up. I mean, he's Yvan Ouedraogo young. He's still like 16 years old. So when I saw he signed, it took me by surprise. I thought he was a '25 recruit and assumed I must just have been mistaken.

But, not only is he classifying up, he's also enrolling in college during what should be his junior year of HS.

I'll take it. I think it's good for us.

I had the same reaction. Like "why is he signing right now if he's a year out"?

We're straight up at 13 scholarships right now. We do NOT have room for another player for this season unless someone leaves.

In order for Braden to enroll for this spring, we'd have to make room.

That was what I was trying to think. If we have to create room, there's an obvious candidate that will likely be shown the door.

@hhcmatt I think the question is how many open spots do we still have for THIS season.

Because if he enrolls for the spring semester, he would be able to participate beginning on graduation day in December, a month away from now. He would not be allowed to enroll if we're at our limit. So, we must be planning on getting under that limit.

So, who's gone?

Robin jumped the gun. He's enrolling in June.

Since he's joining the team in the 23-24 season, would be count towards this year's numbers, or next year's?

I gotta think he'd count for now. I don't think they could allow him to enroll unless we had room. So they must figure we'll have room.
