Game 2 vs Omaha

Looks like Akol Arop, Kennedy Brown, and Jamal Ambrose didn't play for Omaha on Monday.  I think I saw that Arop and Brown were injured.

Curious on the status of these guys plus anything else about the team.

Their forwards seem young and rail thin. Brougham at 6'9" and 195lbs started at center, and doesnt appear to be a perimeter threat. Seems to be a much better matchup for keita than Maines bigs. Would imagine we can control the glass again.

Sounds like they’re likely to get Ambrose back healthy for Thursday night. 6’10 freshman out of Apple Valley, Minnesota was a big recruiting win for Crutchfield and Co.

Sounds like Arop will be out. 

Kennedy Brown was out with a concussion...not sure if he'll be available.  6-9, 225...saw he nabbed 10 rebounds in their exhibition game in 17 minutes.

Seems likely that Gary will feast again

OK, just by way of explanation, the reason for the added commentary in that thread title is because it's common for me to start threads about what I'm thinking for down the road a season or two. And it seems like EVERY TIME I do a thread on what might be coming down the pipe a year from now, there's always someone who chimes in with "Why are you talking about NEXT year? I don't want to talk about NEXT year. I want to talk about THIS year."

 

So, I just thought I'd give folks a heads-up that if you want to talk about THIS year, fine, nobody stopping you, but this ain't that thread.

Btn is really screwy with the extra channels.  It's typically used to show the exact same program that regular BTN shows.  Not even alternate camera angles of the same game. It's a wasted channel.
