I don't think we will have any scholarships left for 2023 with the two freshmen coming in and only losing Sam H.  unless some one else leaves.

These two new 2023 recruits looks very very good for the future.  Another step forward in the process...get better and better recruits each succeeding year.

Impressive 2023 class of Potts and Nissley. Top POY players in their respective states.  

 

We'll lose several players in the next two years. These two recruits will really help set the stage for future teams.

 

But next year may turn out be Coach Williams best and deepest... and mature... team.

watched Logan Nissley from Bismarck Central defeat Bismarck tuesday evening. good defensive position. quick release on her shots. her offense is pretty darn efficient. she scored 17, however, she has a couple of really good scorers so BC does not have to rely on Logan.  passes very well......doesn't force things. good court awareness. i could see her being efficient with the mid-range jumper and beyond. she drained one of her 3's from about 6ft beyond the perimeter line. she did have a couple breakaways, but, Bismarck's defense shut them down. not sure she is gonna blow by anybody driving to the basket, though. 

i definitely can see where she can bring some offense to the huskers. excited to see her be a husker!

Coach did say that it was for the '23 class, just to clarify since I did not note that previously.  Anybody follow Twitter that maybe picked up on anything?  Yeah, we'll take a commit from Britt too.

The only verbal commit that I am aware of is her daughter.

I watched Logan a few of her games but she didn't play in the last two or so.  According to the Bismark newspaper she has an injury that will keep her out for several weeks.  No specifics.  Bummer.

I hope both Natalie & Logan can come in this fall and make meaningful contributions right away as freshmen…because depending on who we lose from this year’s squad and how we do in the transfer portal, we may need those 2 to contribute right away.

Both Natalie and Logan come from extremely successful programs and are the leaders on their teams.  They should be able to contribute relatively soon.  Natalie's team ( Incarnate Word Academy in St. Louis) has won about 82 games in a row and are rated in the national top ten.

Was really hoping we could keep the Aussie string going.  This is a good indicator Issie and Jazz are sending home good reports about UNL and their experience here. 

 

Jessica is the type of player we need. International experience on National teams.  She won't be like a freshman with glassy eyes on her face.

Need to see more of her floor game. Hope she has some Issie type moves inside the lane.

No doubt this is who Coach is referring to.  She will sign in April (I believe that is the latter signing period).  The others signed in November.
