I found the stats from UC-Riverside's first game at Life Pacific's website. UCR's athletics department doesn't have them.

They ran an eight-man rotation, generally, though 10 men saw action.

Starters:

  1. Khy Kabellis, 6-4, Senior/Gr. (25 minutes, 9 points, 2-5 from deep, 8 rebounds, 4 assists)
  2. D.J. McDonald, 5-11, Sophomore (18 minutes, 6 points, 2-6 from deep, 0 assists)
  3. Dominick Pickett, 6-3, Junior (26 minutes, 7 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists)
  4. Daniel Mading, 6-9 Sophomore (22 minutes, 8 points, 2-5 from deep, 7 rebounds)
  5. Callum McRae, 7-1 Sophomore (27 minutes, 15 points, 9 rebounds)

Bench:

  • Zyon Pullin, 6-4 Freshman (26 minutes, 0 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds)
  • Zac Watson, 6-7 Sophomore (22 minutes, 8 points, 3 rebounds)
  • George Willborn, 6-3 Junior (22 minutes, 11 points on 10 shots, 4 rebounds)

Below is the image of the final stats. UCR led 37-26 at half, and won 73-45 in front of 285 rabid Highlander hoops fanatics.

You'll notice the 2 players from New Zealand and 3 from Australia. This is due to 2nd year head coach David Patrick. Patrick grew up in Australia and is probably most famous for being an assistant coach at LSU where he got his godson Ben Simmons to hang out for a year.

Daniel Mading? His name sounds familiar. Did we try to recruit him?

There’s a guy we’re recruiting right now with the last name Mading. Can’t remember his first babe though.

Marial Mading. I think he's Daniel's brother. And, yes, Daniel was someone we recruited. Might even have gotten a visit from.

Daniel visited in 2015

If this was the evening of deliverance, then Riverside was a toothless hillbilly and Nebraska was Ned Beatty.

Is "squeal like a Husker" going to be a thing now?
