JBARGIE Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Has this connection been helpful to our program at all? https://www.imgacademy.com/coach/segado-cookie-belcher It seems like they have quite the talent coming out of there year after year. Barbie 1 Quote
colhusker Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Didn't know he was there, kind of cool. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Very cool and good for Cookie. We have been recruiting football players from IMG, perhaps the door should be open for basketball talent as well. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Cookie looks like a baller, still. Loved his time with Nebrasketball... really great work by Segado Belcher. Now, Coach Belcher. Quote
lang Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Cookie is easily one of my all time favorite Husker hoopsters....in case you care Swan88 1 Quote

So does this mean we're going to pluck Trevon Duval from Kansas, as well? Quote

Hard not to respect a no-nonsense guy that plays lock-down defense and leads a team without demanding a lot of personal accolades. Plus, he went by the name Cookie Belcher. I would think that he has one of the most entertaining names in college basketball history. Way better food reference than Tacko Fall. Less sexual-sounding than Fat Lever or Magic Johnson. Somewhere in the afterlife, Chocolate Thunder and Craig Sager are busy stunting on each other to see who has the more colorful wardrobe. But Chocolate Thunder is purely a nickname, administered by Stevie Wonder. Because Dawkins dunked so hard Wonder could feel it Quote
