Bo Spencer was a pretty big time senior transfer, IIRC.

Bo sat out a season after his time at LSU before he ever played his final year at Nebraska. And, yes, Spencer did pretty well in Lincoln in Doc's last hurrah.

A junior transfer. He was specifically dismissed from LSU for failure to meet academic requirements.

Georgetown parting ways with Coach Thompson. Whether they have recruits decommit or players transfer, maybe Kenya and Isaac Copeland can get us in with someone if they are good enough. Not sure what they have on their roster or their recruiting class

Back in the 50 days that Rashon Burno worked here, Dickerson de-committed from Florida.

We hoped he would look here, but he didn't visit nor mention us. I guess we didn't want to Rashon, the guy who left after 50 days, to feel like he was being used just for his contacts.

Anyway, Dickerson is still quite good and would probably start for us if he wanted to come here.

Sure, why not.

Well, I'm sure he wouldn't be allowed to transfer within the Pac 12 and go to ASU, where Burno is currently.  We can only hope he will be interested in us this time around.

I find it interesting they're going hard after JUCO guards. Maybe that's where better options are but if they add a JUCO shooter, next year's JR class suddenly becomes massive. It's already at 7. It will be interesting to see how they handle that class.

One thing that I am questioning... If we are offering these JUCO Guards, is it to put pressure on all parties to commit, or do they know something about Smith that we do not?

I think they're casting a wide net. I'm sure there is some pressure to commit, or at least I'd imagine they're being up front with the fact they're offering a bunch of guys and first one to commit gets the spot. I don't think this has anything to do with Smith. I've got the impression Smith has a spot if he wants it, but they have a back up plan in case he chooses somewhere else and the other spot is going to a transfer, either JUCO or SR transfer.

I think this is it.   They know it is do or die time and see the obvious need.   Can't afford to come up empty

It's certainly a different approach than we've had in years past and probably overdue.

Don't know if this was mentioned already but a 7'2 grad transfer from Cal is on the market. He averaged 5pts 5reb.

Obviously guard depth is our main priority but if we could find a guard that can shoot it and back up Glynn a little, I wouldn't mind adding some more size. Especially that type of size.

Here is my thought... I think we have enough depth with Jordy, Ed, and Mike... to go along with the height of Copeland down there.

If we could get a 1-2-3 punch of Nana, Smith, and Allen, I would be 100 percent OK with that.  Right now, getting three gunners would be big for us.

Like you said though, it is always nice to add more size.

Mmm, probably not.

I see our rotation inside being pretty full already with Jordy and Michael and Ed and Isaac and maybe Jack as well.

I think we need shooters more and more shooters.

Steve Enoch requested his release from Uconn today.. I'm not sure if we are still in the market for a big man, but Enoch is a big big guy that never really fit in with Uconn. Showed alot of potential, can bang in the post, has nice post moves, and went to the same high school as Andre Drummond. Worth giving a look imo.
