Wisconsin is the first Big Ten Team on the board on the #8 line. That seems low to me. May not bode well for the rest of the conference.

But then there's MSU at #9...

I like the MSU KU matchup in the second round.

I could see Rhode Island taking down the Jays.'

Michigan is hot and could knock off Louisville in the second round.

Wiscy could take down Nova as well.

Oh, wow, I didn't think SDSU would be a 16. That could be a touch match-up for the Zags!

I could see SDSU getting that first 16 V 1 win... they certainly have a great shot.

As good a shot as any. Not sure how they deal with Gonzaga's back court, but that front court matchup will be fun to watch.

I like that SDSU team, but I think they are playing the worst matchup as far as 16v1 goes for them. Gonzaga is loaded and I'm assuming Daum is gonna have to guard the man-mountain that is Przemek Karnowski. Not a good matchup

So far, we have beaten a...

#7 Seed- Dayton

#4 Seed- Purdue

Also, #6 Maryland.

That's one win at home, one win on the road, and one win on a neutral court.

Just too many losses.

We were 3-12 by my count against teams in the tournament.  That means we were 9-7 against teams not in the tournament.

That stat right there is what separates the post-season teams and the sit at home and watch teams.

Has anybody run into a breakdown by conference? Bonus for seeds next to those numbers?

As uneblinstu said, this bracket has a lot of intriguing matchups.
