True story:  my kid and a couple of his knucklehead buddies drive to Bloomington for the game.  Check into their hotel.  Go to their room, which just happens to be right next to Tim Miles' room.  So he chats them up; gives his approval of their plan to give Crean the business during the game.  Except they are in the rafters.  No oxygen up there.  They see coach on the court after the game and they have a big celebration.  Got great pics with coach and Roby.

Loyalty rewarded for the lad;  great night.

Bloomington isn't that far of a drive for younger folk. only 13 hours.

One little thing I enjoyed was watching the great stone face, Morrow, show some emotion a couple of times down the stretch. Oh, and what a monster game he played. He carves out space and nobody gets it back.

 

The entire bench was really into it, not just the end sitters. Saw no pouting from McVeigh, which was also good.

Ha Ha!  We had the same name for freshmen intramural b-ball team in college.  Unfortunately, we had a hard time recruiting cute cheerleaders to lead the chant during our games!

You were only about 4 hrs. from Bloomington. You should have went to the game.
